comparing tweed front ends 5F4 vs. 5F6A

just a theoretical question: what can I expect if I replace the front end in a 5F4 Super with a 5F6 Bassman type frontent (excluding the PI). I have built both types before but there were many other factors involved like different power sections, -FB, speakers, trannies and so on so that I cannot directly compare them. Would I have more gain or less? What else? I like the idea of the TMB tonestack but I wonder in which way I would alter the tone. I would like to have a basic idea before I do it and find out that it sounds like %$%§& ...
