Hi all, I bought a 3 piece Cordavox accordion amp a while ago (same as discribed here CORDOVOX CG TUBE AMPLIFIER ) except mine was is mess so I plan on gutting the amp part and using the BEEFY pt but saddly Idk what to build with it. Im unsure what to do with these voltages:
Line 119.6v
Red to Red 167.5v
Blue to Blue 23.5v
Green to Green 6.8v
Yellow to Yellow 14.7v
Green/Yellow Ground
Yellow/Brown Ground
Measured in the chassis with the center taps untouched but everything else unconected. Most of the leads went to a socket that went to the tone generator.
My concern is the low "HV". I would probably have to wire a doubler circuit and I could run a couple EL84s or 4 (I mean come on it ran 60 tubes think it can handle 4 EL84s + 3 12AX7s right?)
Any thoughts?
