  • Roland - JC77 potentiometer replacement

    Hello All,

I am trying to replace the Distortion potentiometer for the JC-77. Does anyone know where I can find the right replacement? It is a volume nob with an on and off switch. Thanks for any help!

    Have you contacted Roland directly?

The schematic shows it to be a 50K reverse audio taper pot with a s.p.s.t. switch. From experience, I know it is a 16mm, pc mount control with a knurled split shaft. If Roland doesn't have them, then this will probably not be easy to find.

You may find something close but not quite the same, like the wrong taper or the wrong shaft type, etc. Maybe somebody else here has one or a lead on one.
