Anyone replace the power transformer on a Neumann NSM power supply before? The high voltage winding is shorted.
I have emailed Neumann for a copy of the schematic, hoping that it is cleaner than the one that the mics owner supplied. Somewhere along the line someone rebuilt this thing, who probably meant well, but should not be allowed to work on things that don't just need a few simple parts replaced. I don't know if I should recommend a total rebuild or just try and get it working.
Well the point is moot if I can't find a replacement transformer.
