Need help with 2x10/ 2x12 cabinet dimensions.

Hello all. Newbie here on the forum. I am trying to get away from the weight of a 4x12 cabinet and into the world of a stereo rig running 2 stand alone cabinets. I currently have 4x12 and 4x10 stereo cabinets. I obviously have the speakers to work with just looking for some insight / input on the construction side pertaining to dimensions. Thanks in advance for any help.

Basically if you "cut your current cabinets in half with a BIG bandsaw" and close the resulting open sides, when put side by side they will sound exactly the same as before, so there you have a clue about dimensions.
