Mackie 808m distorting

I have a Mackie 808m powered mixer that's distorting on the channel 1 output. Any idea on what to look for?

Isolate the problem. We don't know if it is power amp or mixer related. PLug a signal into the Power Amp In jack on the front, does that sound OK, or does it have the distortion?

If it is distorted, then the power amp has the problem. I am assuming the other channel is OK?

Once you know where the problem is, determine the nature of the distortion. Is it clipping, is it asymmetrical? Is there power ripple problems on the channel? Check the op amps on that channel power amp, do they all have food power supply rails at the ICs themselves?
