  • Hotrod Deville Fuse Size

Hello, I did something stupid a few days ago and plugged my Fender HotRot Deville 212 with a US 120V power supply into a European 240V socket... Yeah I wasn't thinking at the time. Normally I use a power converter.

Anyway, the fuse blew -- at least I hope that's all that's broken. I took out the fuse and put it on my desk. Well my wife came along and "cleaned" my desk... no more fuse. I'm trying to order a replacement here in Europe. I've read the Fender specs on this amp and all it says is 3A 250V Fuse. When I try to buy a fuse online I see 2 sizes: 6x30mm or 6.3x32mm. Can anyone tell me which size is correct?

    Thanks!

Oh forgot to mention.. I *think* it's a 6.3x32mm because I remember the fuse saying 3AG. Apparently size 3AG is 6.3x32mm 3AB/3AG (6.3x32mm) - Littelfuse Maybe someone could confirm my thoughts.

The Hot Rod Deville uses a 3 AG fuse, which is technically 1/4 x 1 1/4".

That is an equivalent 6.3 x 32mm fuse.
