DDX3216 No display fix

DDX3216 boots, everything works, display lights but no characters. (this was all after a full cap job)

Replace C10-13 on the display board. 4 Small SMD caps 10mfd 25v.

What this thing needs now is a nice quiet fan.

I have the same broken-mixer symptoms ("DDX3216 boots, everything works, display lights but no characters. (this was all after a full cap job)"), BUT the LCD board is known good -- at least it works fine in another DDX3216. AND -- another known working LCD board DOESN'T work when placed in the "broken" mixer. So I'm not inclined to change parts on the LCD boards. Any suggestions on what to poke and prod next? The Q3 crystal waveform looks the same on the broken mixer as on a working mixer, so I'm not inclined to change that either.
