Hello,
Have the Randall RX30D guitar amp for repair. Last problem is built in effects not working.
It seems that this board is not produced by Randal but purchased and added as a complete. It might be made by Wawefront.
The board marking is : AL3201B-2
It is conected to the main board by two conectors :
3 pin
Signal IN
GND
Signal OUT (nothing here)
and 4 pin:
-15V DC
GND
+15 V DC
+ 5 V DC
Voltages are OK. I trace signal from input via 2 Op Amp (4558) to AD converter AL1101G.
I suspect mainly IC8 microcontroller HT48R05A-1 or IC 6 AL3201B Digital Reverb Engine.
I didn't find any clock signal on any of IC's.
Anyone face similar problem? Advise might be more helpfull then circuit diagram. That I can probably draw in worst case, but that will take a lot of time and I can do a mistake.
Processor is in base, easy to change if I get ir but that DRE is tiny 16 pins SOIC I'm not so keen to change.
