I have a DMI Sound City 50+/with reverb head in for a general cleaning and look over (early 70's).
The amp plays. Upon pulling the chassis, this amp has the phase invertor tube between a pair of EL34 and 5- 12ax7 behind the heat shield. The vertical mount reverb tank has been rendered mechanically non-functional at some period (no springs).
I have a suitable replacement but on closer inspection the wiring harness from the Reverb Volume pot has been clipped and the ground lifted making it totally useless. I have no idea where the red and black wire were connected or the ground shield either.
Anyone have one of these that could shed some light. It is not important to the owner to have the reverb functioning....But...it would be good to know.
