MIM Duo Sonic pups?

Is there any difference between the neck and the bridge pickup on a early 90s MIM Duo Sonic? I have one that seems to have the neck and bridge pickup reversed from the factory. They have different color coded wires but measure the same DC resistance. One is probably reverse would to stop hum in the center switch position. Does it really matter which is where as long as the orientation is correct?

I found a service diagram for a Squier Duo-sonic.

It appears to be wired similar to a Tele.
Typical RWRP..
The Diagram shows the bridge white and black wound Clockwise.
The neck would be yellow and black Counter Closckwise.
One will be south up, the other north up.
Usually white and black is south up, and yellow and black usually north up.
That may or may not apply here.

Thanks again T. This one seems to have the neck pickup in the bridge position and the bridge pickup in the neck position from the factory according to the diagrams. I can't SS if it would make a difference as long as the phase is correct?

If both pickups are the same DCR, then it should make no difference.
With Teles I've seen them wound and polarized both ways.
On Teles I wind mine Neck CW South up, white and black.
Bridge yellow and black CCW North up.
But, I've seen them just the opposite.
I always wind my bridge P/Us hotter than the neck, but if they are both the same it should not matter!

Right, you got it.
If the pickups are the same as Strat pickups, you might use a neck, & middle, or middle, & bridge strat pickups.
I know you said you have your favorite strat P/Us.
