Does anybody know how to set a Tascam CD-GT1 for pitch change. I have studied and re-read the instructions umpteen times and although I can change the speed of a CD disc, I can not affect a key change. If anybody does know could they please provide a detailed description ( step by step ) as I'm either stupid or maybe the trainer is faulty. Thanks, Mike

Use the MENU button to toggle through the options until PITCH appears.
Check that PIT (pitch + tempo change) is set to 0. Adjust with UP and/or DOWN, then press ENTER.
Check that SSA (slow speed audition) is set to off. Adjust with UP and/or DOWN, then press ENTER.
Use the MENU button to toggle through the options until KEY appears.
Adjust pitch with UP and/or DOWN, then press ENTER.
That's all from pages 9 and 11 from the manual.
Page 11 notes that only 1 "mode" can be selected at a time regarding KEY, PITCH, or SSA "mode." That's why I suggest you make sure PITCH and SSA are OFF if you want to use just KEY. -
