Project! Convert push/pull 'boost pot' to a footswitchable jack?

I guy I know has a 70's Princeton Reverb with the push/pull - Volume/boost pot. He would like to make that function 'foot-switchable'. Can someone explain the best way to accomplish this?

Doesn't it have a jack for a boost switch pedal, like this one?

I don't have the amp in front of me yet. I did work on it a few years ago. Since the owner asked the question yesterday, I assumed that it is not fitted with one. Seems basic enough with the schematic that you provided that shows the jacks. I will try to get the amp soon and then I will know more.
