I was curious about a cap in this amp . JVM 205

Its C24 that is across the fb resistor . How would the tone or feel of the amp be affected if it was removed or increased in value ?? and what is its purpose ?

    its a 120p

This is most likely lead compensation, use to improve the stability of the amplifier. It's not affecting your tone as it kicks in about 10kHz. I wouldn't remove it and I'd be hesitant to causally change it.
Experience is something you get, just after you really needed it.

What an awesome amp the JVM 205 is!

        Lotsa knobs.

        Serial & parallel FX.

Digital reverb assignable to either channel.

        And midi to boot.

yep --i actually bought one for myself. the 410 has even MORE knobs ! The best sounding Marshall ever produced in my opinion---nails all of their amp tones

Totally agree! I love everything about it- except the price.
