Yes!. That is an important detail. I have the S7 and there has been no recall on that model.

I just got rid of the s4 and got a s7, so i am hoping it doesn't affect this model too! I think the note is much bigger and a cross between a phone and a tablet. 3500ma battery in a small package is asking for trouble.

I don't know one model from another.
It's killing their stock price though, and helping Apples price.
I have two Samsung LED TVs.
Two smart models, a 40 inch in a bedroom, and a 50 inch in the living room.
I have them both hooked wifi, and I can watch YouTube vids on either of them. lol
