I guy gave me an old solid state Sunn SX4150 to repair. Well it does not make a sound because the output transistors are missing! Does anyone have any information on these amps? I downloaded (for $20) the schematic from MusicParts.com and there is no information on the transistors.

    Thanks!

$20? Wow, I wish you had come here first. Fender would have sent it to you for free most likely, and we could have posted it.

Does your schematic look like this?

The outputs are listed as TIP102 and TIP107 on this drawing.

        Funny they used 6 x TO220 devices instead of usual 2 or 4 x TO218 (TO3P) .
They also used (unneeded) driver transistors (TIP10* are darlingtons).
Maybe they got a special deal on them, cents on the dollar, not much used anywhere else (if at all).

But hey, each one uses what he pleases
