LM 308H type in a proco Rat.

I have some LM308H 8pin can types. Is there a adaptor that goes from ic socket to the 8 pin can type? Anybody try this setup or would I be wasting time? Thanks

I think I've tried that some time ago. You just make sure to match the pins. Sounded slightly different.

Just spread the legs into two rows of four and stick them into the holes. The pins are in the same order. I've even seen them installed this way in commercial equipment.

That's exactly how I've been using them for over 30 years without any problem.
