  • 5E3 with Reverb Question

First let me say that if it were up to me, I'd just use a pedal. However, this friend is dead set on adding on-board reverb to his 5E3. I've found a schematic for a one-tube reverb circuit that has been successful in this application. This person recommends using a tank like a princeton reverb would use. This tank's impedance is listed at 8/2250. But my friend's cabinet won't quite accommodate the long pan. My question is: Would a tank with listed impedance of 10/2575 still work? It's the closest I could find in a short tank.

Thanks in advance for your advice.

    That is close enough.
