  • Valco Gretsch 6165 schematic needed

I've got two Gretsch (made by Valco) 6165 amps in my shop for repair. I've searched all over the internet and cant seem to find a schematic for these. Does anyone have a copy of this schematic before I have to start tracing out the circuit? Thanks!

Thank you for the quick reply. I actually have a Gretsch 6164 Variety that appears to be very close to a Valco 6499VR without the reverb. 12AX7's for the preamp sections and a single 6DR7 for the tremolo circuit from what I can figure out based on initial tracing, etc. Output section is 2 RCA 6L6GC and a T6113 output transformer.

I figured the 6165 was close but as a Variety Plus had both Tremolo and reverb. The 6499VR schematic I have is rough so parts are not legible. Worst case I will trace and redraw but thought someone might have already figured it out.

        Thank you again,
        Lew

The 6165 info here may help.
