Your replacement should work. It's a higher current relay, but that's better than lower. The only thing I notice is that it's also bigger and the lead spacing is farther apart, which may be a problem if it is PC board mounted.

thanks duder........its just going on a custom pcb.. i still dont know how to wire my signal in/ out to it. Ive never done a relay circuit i guess... maybe you could check out my other thread ? Just need that answered (lower posts) and i think i can pull this off !!
