    Saying hello

    Iīm new at the forum and wanted to say hello. I came across music-electronics looking for information to repair my mark bass amp. I still have a long way till I get it fixed, but Iīm in my way. Not long ago I started to repair my own musical stuff, sometimes I success, sometimes I donīt but itīs always fun. I hope I can share and help other people through this forum.

    Welcome to the Forum.

    Please be extra careful with that Mark Bass.
    I do believe that they use a Switch Mode Power Supply.
    This type of supply is very dangerous to work on as the input side is connected directly to the mains.
