  • Adding a capacitor to the tweed princeton NFB resistor?

    Hi all good afternoon,

What are the thoughts on adding a cap to the 22K feedback resistor on my 5F2-A project? I'm not wanting to add a potentiometer for a full fledged presence type control, just some way to make the ideal setting be hardwired into the circuit... it seems like most minor mods to the feedback loop switch the resistor in or out of circuit I was thinking of the cap being switched in or out... would the tonal benefit be worthwhile? If so what are the points to think over in choosing a value? I am really wanting to do the tried and proven "build to schematic for your first build" ideology as it is my first one in a long time but I am also wanting the best lil amp I can get thru careful ideas (which you all are very helpful in and I appreciate your thoughts!)

I am getting excited to get the parts together and make a build progress thread!
