  • Silvertone 1333 new Power Transformer

Hi, I need a 110/240 Volts power transformer for a Silvertone 1333 as replacement for a blown original 110 Volts model.
    Schematics:

Any hints and informations much appreciated...

I couldn't get any schematics to load, but looking at a thumbnail image it looks like 3x 7025, 2x 6V6 and one 6CA4 for a total of 2.8A at 6.3V. If that is the case then this replacement for an 18-watt Marshall should work. https://nextgenguitars.ca/products/h...ansformer.html

It also has a 5 volt winding which would allow you to use a different rectifier if you wanted.

    Hope that helps,

    Andy

Thanks Andy, schematics are also on this link

Except two 6V6s, the Amp has rather odd 40/50s type tubes and a 3.2 Ohms, 12“speaker.

Ok, so then you have 6SC7 @.3A, 6SJ7 @.3A, 6SN7 @.6A, 2x 6V6 @.45A, and 6X5GT @.6A for 2.7A total so that same transformer ought to do the job, although plate voltages would likely be somewhat higher than the original.

Thanks a lot, I‘ll give it a try and hope, that it will work with higher plate voltages.
