  • Behringer B205D no noise

    Hallo,

i'm from Germany and my english is not so good. Please excuse me.

I have a Behringer B205D that makes no noise when it is switched on. The powerlight is on, the phantomlight can switched on. The schematic i have downloaded.
The +15 and -15V and the 48V are ok. I can touch the Preamp-Board where i want, no noise is comming out. It is like the Box is switched off.
During my searches suddenly it was working, then again not.

    Who can help me please?

I have made some more Tests directly at the IC's of the Pre-Amp. At all of them the +15 and -15V and also the 48V are available. Then i took a amplified PC-Speeker an plugged it to the Thru-Plug. That is working. Music was comming out of the PC-Speaker. So the Pre-Amp is ok.
But there is no noise from the b205d-Speaker. The PWR-Amp is not working.

      Something strange!
After the measurements i assembled the pre-amp and build it in. Then i tested again the pass-thru. It was working. Then i plugged in a mikrofon and suddenly the B205D-Box was working on all inputs. Then i increased the main-volume. At a high level suddenly the pwr-amp was switching off.
      Is there a overload protection?
