I have an RM 80 on the bench that someone tried to repair.

Hoo Boy!

Anyway, the only schematic out there is not what I have in front of me.
There is a strange two transistor circuit hanging off of the input signal at pin 6 of the TL072.

Does anyone have a clue what this supposed to do?

Note: when they added this circuit they dropped the ground connection at pin 7 after the 10 ohm resistor.
