  • Help identifying old pickup

    https://ibb.co/sRfxWDB

    Can anybody identify this pickup?
There are 3 of them, so probably from a 3 pickup guitar.
It was removed from probably an old German guitar, but the guy who removed them doesn't remember.
Searching online, the closest I could find were old Framus pickups, but not quite.
    Thanks!

We got a lot of this stuff in Australia in the 60s due to the import situation/legislation.
I've seen one like this before but cannot for the life of me recall the guitar it was in. Fasan? Hofner? Crown maybe?
This might be a jumping off point for research.

Sorry I can't be of more assistance than that.

Thanks for trying. I've been searching everywhere on the web, and the closest I could find were old Framus pickups, but not quite.

          SUCCESS!!!!

I took Gonzo id's advice and used Fasan guitars as a jumping off point for research.
Googled pictures of Fasan guitars and kept scrolling down.
Eventually I saw this: Bartolini Avanti guitars from the early 60's(?)
          So its Italian, not German.
Thanks Gonzo id, hero of the week!

....and it turns out the same pickups were used by numerous other (connected) brands in the Merche area of Italy in the early 60's
