They have 36V cars in Canada?

And that is called 'rigid loop' base, but I'm doubtful of those specs. Most of the bulbs in that package are 5 to 10W, 56W seems very high. In any case, there doesn't seem to be a generic version, you will probably have to get 'official' ones from Ampeg.

        36v 54w bulb it's a 36V / 1.5A bulb.
If you don't mind improvising, the same protection will do 3 pieces of 12V / 1.5A bulbs serial connected.

          YamaPeg? Crataha?
I still like CratePeg best, though...

I think Yamaha only bought the Ampeg line, not Crate.

I have a few emails out to a few somewhat close distributors that I found on ampeg's distributor list on their site, I've found a few that I could get to work, like the ones from fliptops could be modified to work, but they don't specify if theirs are 12v or 32v, those cabs used both from what I understand, earlier-12v later-32v, and oddly they want $3.90 for 1, but $7.65 each if you order more than 1 and I'm betting they are 12v.
I ran around to a few automotive parts places, and a home improvement place and every one of them were baffled at the thought of a 32v bulb "how would that work in a 12v car?"

Oh, your links are fine but from 2001 to 2008.

                    Fresher news (May 2018) is:
                    http://mmrmagazine.com/news/upfront/...cquires-ampeg/
                    which states:
Yamaha Guitar Group, Inc., the newly formed U.S. subsidiary of Japan-based Yamaha Corporation, has announced the acquisition of the Ampeg brand from LOUD Audio, LLC., a portfolio company of Transom Capital Group.
“There is enormous respect for Ampeg within Yamaha,” added Shoji Mita, Yamaha Guitar Group co-president. “Both Yamaha and Ampeg have histories in the guitar market that stretch back over seventy years
                    But don´t worry:

                    what-could-go-wrong?

As of the bulbs themselves: powers-that-be decided that up to 1.5A through driver/tweeter voice coil is safe, so be it.

Tungsten filament lamps behave as constant current devices, varying voltage drop across terminals while not surpassing rated current.

So in principle , "any" 1.5A lamp would do.

                    Now to voltage.

Classic lamp all over the place was car type 12V 15/18W which is very common, but apparently caused annoying "nuisance blowing" with modern high power amps and slappers so they upgraded that spec.

Now 36V is NOT a common value, I suggest you search for 32V 50W ones which are far more used (typical train and emergency power lighting since forever) and absolute worst case, using 3 12V lamps in series is recommended by Ampeg themselves as a stopgap measure.

                        Why would he?

Any relation between Loud and Ampeg?

                          Juan,

As I said in post #3, I've gotten those lamps from Loud in the past. They only recently sold Ampeg. Now, maybe they sold their parts stock, too. But, maybe not. It's certainly worth a phone call to find out.

Yes, definitely worth a call, since a call is cheap.

Sadly I think Loud as a whole completely disconnected from Ampeg, guess if they had a warehouse full of Ampeg stuff they just gave the key to new owners, and if a warehouse had some Ampeg stuff they packed and delivered it (or Yamahans picked it themselves) and swept the floor for good measure.

And somebody must browse inventory registers to find the part, amount left (if any at all) , then pack, bill and deliver it.

                            Not physically impossible but ....

but all this comes later, first thing I did before my tongue-in-cheek answer was click the link you provided ... then on "Brands" they say:

                            our portfolio of world-recognized brands, Mackie®, Blackheart®, Crate® and TAPCO®,

Again, trying is cheap, so, why not?

                            We might be surprised.

How many times have we spent an hour debating whether a 1 minute phone call would be successful?
