I have a silvertone 1484 Twin Twelve with a bigger OT that I have had for years. The reverb was always a joke and the tremolo quit working on me a few years ago. Besides that the amp has always played and sounded great. I did replace the caps not long after I got it but other than that it’s worked fine. The other night I’m playing through channel 2 (Daisy Chained to channel 1) and I turn it off and everything is fine. The next day I turn it on and I get no sound from the 2nd channel. The 1st channel still works fine but no not the 2nd channel. I’ve changed the preamp tubes and all the tubes are glowing. Before anyone suggests changing the tubes let me remind you again that channel 1 works fine so that would eliminate the tubes being the culprit. If anyone has any other suggestions on what could be wrong I would appreciate it. Thanks!
