    How do those sprague caps vent if they become leaky? I mean does the electrolyte spew out into the empty space that encapsulates it? Could that be better than all over the circuitry?

        I installed a new can cap. Now all electrolytic caps replaced.

              Here are some recordings of the Silvertone 1484. Sounds pretty good even with the Chinese caps.
