  • ALTO Uber no output

    Hi

I'm trying to repair an Alto Über PA which has no audio output.
Having disassembled it I can see that there is no V+ on any of the op-amps (TLV6002), so I'm suspecting a power issue.
The board gets power from a separate SMPS and a Battery - both check out OK, and the Battery level LEDs do their usual little animation during switch on, so power to the MCU is ok.

+12V is making it to the amp (TPA3112)

I'm having a hard time tracing the V+ signal as it seems to be mostly on an inner layer.
Anyone got a schematic, or experience with this little amp?

    *edit* Spelling and grammar.

The +5V supply voltage for the TLV6002 is generated by the regulator TLV70450 (U13) and should be at its pin #3. If +5V is not present, check whether this pin is shorted to the ground. If it is not shorted, check the input voltage of 16 V at U13 pin# 2.
