  • Tone control issue ?

    Hello,
    I have a job in progress restoring an old Dynacord Bass-King. I just noticed the bass control is not quite functional as should be jumping to huge boost the bass after fraction of knob turn. Very annoying to effective control in usefull range. The schematic shows 1M lin. here, but after saw how it works seems a logarithmic fit better in those position. What are You thinking about , please ?

    If you feel that all the action is in the bottom end of the knob scale you might try a logarithmic pot. But then you should probably swoop the two side terminals...
    In this forum everyone is entitled to my opinion.

      Yes, I think a log pot would be better there.
