Power transformer question blackstar HT60 soloist

    Hi folks

Does anyone know the specs for the BS HT60 soloist power transformer? The HT60 soloist has 2 EL34s.

Do you reckon that this would be ok, or do I need something a little beefier?

    0-115 + 0-115 on the primary; and
    6.3 - CT - 0 and 350v - 0 on the secondary

    All help greatly appreciated.

    All the best

    Steve

Spec sheet on Mercury magnetics dropin transformer for that model. Yours doesn't have enough taps. Make no mistake the transformers will be the most expensive part in this foray.
Cheaper version than Merc mag https://www.partsisparts.net/catalog...mer-mcpts01247

That Mercury spec sheet is very interesting. I may we’ll be stuck with the Blackstar offering or something even more pricey like the Mercury.

I need to do some serious maths. I might be better consigning my BD pcb to the parts bin and concentrating on another more satisfying project.

    Cheers

    Steve

You only listed voltages. The critical spec is how much current each winding can produce.
