Dishwashing liquid, brush and hot water?

(I hope you have nickel-silver, not nickel covers as nickel would be microphonic.)

        3 steps.
        Wash with dish detergent.
        Rinse with distilled water.
        Rinse with acetone.

Trisodium phosphate is used a lot in the plating industry for cleaning and de-greasing, and for metal prep in general.
