Precision bass pickup

Hello,

it s my first post on this forum.

I am 30 years old and i'm from France.

i have problems with my Fender precision bass (1983).For 2 months, when i'm playing, a "sweet" saturation is made on each note.

I would like to test my précision pickup but i don't know how to do?

i have read that the "DC Resistance" is 10.5K but where can i find this ?
