  • Vox AC30 CC1 Reverb

    Hi everyone,

I've just bought a secondhand CC1 which sounds great, but the reverb isn't working. I looked inside the reverb tank and the springs have broken off. It's a Belton BL3EB3C1B and I've heard that they're rubbish anyway so thought of replacing it with an accutronics unit. The trouble is which one? Iknow that its the 9 model but can't work out the impedance.

Can anyone help with the correct model?

    Thank you

    John

It's solid state driven reverb, so you need a high impedance unit. The best thing to do would be to measure the DCR of your existing unit (if the coils aren't broken or shorted)and find the closest Accutronics match.

I own the same amp and it's a phenomenal amp for the money. It's still Chinese made PCB stuff, but I like it.
