    Marshall DSL401 Enzo???

    OK, this amp has been nothing but trouble since I bought it used. Enzo helped me troubleshoot the last problem down to a bad BR1. Now after a few hours of use none of the tubes (preamp or power amp) are firing up.
    Ideas where to start are welcome.

    Ah geez, it's Monday, and already my name is coming up...

    How about F4? The heater fuse?

    Are the wires from the power tranny OK? Looks like W19, W20. Is there 6VAC at the tranny?
    Education is what you're left with after you have forgotten what you have learned.

      Piece of crap....

      I am looking for my schematic on this dog...
      If it didn't have nice tone I would take it out for target practice. Maybe a nice Blues Deluxe would be a better fit?
      (will pull this piece of crap apart once again and troubleshoot...)

        More crap....

        Enzo, I found the F4 fuse holder stretched out and not making good contact with the fuse, also blown F4. Replaced fuse and all is well so far. Dang cheap fuse holder I might ad.
