  • Green Ringer Volume Drop

I built a green ringer. And it works great. Except for the fact that there's a volume drop. How can i fix this? Thanks in advance.

What do the nice people at Tonepad say?

That seems like the obvious place to ask.
Amazing!! Who would ever have guessed that someone who villified the evil rich people would begin happily accepting their millions in speaking fees!

Oh, wait! That sounds familiar, somehow.

Not a forum as such, but people do post their mods to the circuit and provide build reports.

Myself, I found that the Ringer tended to need a slightly boosted front end to "deliver the goods", as well as yield a reasonable output. So, I stuck a single transistor gain stage on the front, and replaced the 4k7 fixed resistor on the output with a 5k volume pot.

Thanks that was a really good idea!. I put a single transistor booster i ripped off from a clean boost circuit and it sounds great.
