So Enzo, youre saying there are other factors making this amp a 30 watter, not 50W? Like what? How did Gibson come up with 30W?

I know I'm headed for the chopping block here, but most amps that I've worked on in the Fender - Marshall genre have no more than 2 volts dropped across the screen resistor at idle. That comes out to 4.25 ma. screen current with 2 volts through a 470 ohm resistor. Not negligible, and something to be considered, but usually, it's less than that, and in many cases the screen voltage is higher than the plate voltage, which is a completely different subject.
I use a temperature meter myself. If it's below 400 degrees F and it don't change, it's biased
