  • Marshall MG100DFX - mod??

    Hello!

I own that amp but it unfortunately sounds cheap. Its hard to tell what's wrong, it sounds hissy, trebles cut my ear,

the amp is in fine condition.

im playin rock, blues, funky so i need overdriven sound mostly for solos - their tone is terrible now and it hurts my ears in each setting!

I have tried boss super overdrive, ibanez tubescreamer 808 - they help only a bit, i must sound better

Would it be able to mod that amp?

    keep warm,
    Luke

Its just a thin sounding solid state amp. If you want real tone you *need* a tube amp. That's really all there is to it. Marshall valestate's are typically thin and sterile sounding no matter what you do.
