Having heard George Lynch rave about this amp I thought to look it up. This CFilter approach doubles up on the usual with duals off the center tap.
Also, I notice these area is similar to a Cerrem one resistor mod (I got the resistor but haven't put it in (switchable) yet. except that you have DC blocking caps present. Now this is starting to look like a dual master volume in the making or at least another tone shaping control.
Two outside caps per pot?
As el84 are such "nasty beasts" they need taming of the trebels from high gain settings.
My jazz-cat roommate prefers a CoFi as others would too, easier than a bass speaker. Listen to Ed Beckert for the best jazz guitar tone, it's a tele.
