I will be getting into upgrading my amp and i didn't want to do it alone as i am not quite savy enough and dread to mess something up that could be ireversible.
When this amp has been on for over an hour, i can hear a steady shhhhhh low pitch noise that is about i'd say, from 1 to 10 on an amp, would be 1 1/2 to 2 of loudness. I assumed it is the electrolitic caps that are the cause. I noticed a high voltage caps section under a cover, and some smaller ones setup on the hand wired board.
Any advice on How i should look at this project from the get go? That would be highly appreciated
