Lightning clone 18 watt class A all tube guitar combo amp with 12 inch 50 watt Eminence speaker. The amplifier was built from a 1960’s Hammond organ chassis. A mostly rebuilt push-pull circuit with new tag board, vintage and new tone capacitors and resistors. The original output and power transformers produce great tone. Original electrolytic can caps were used. The amp blaze’s a 5U4 rectifier, two EL84 power and three 12AX7 preamp tubes all 60’s era. 3/4 inch plywood open back cabinet covered in marine vinyl with corner protectors, rubber feet and rubber handle. Its a surprisingly loud 18 watts. The interactive tone controls: bass, treble, volume and master all work together for a wide range of tones. The master and volume controls can be tweaked to get the tube drive at lower volume levels.
