nub ? guitar research t60r

Hi,
I am new to the tube amp scene just started playing a couple months ago,
Have a epi les paul and mim fender stat.Was using a peavey viper30 amp and just picked up a guitar research T60R amp on fleabay for 77.00 I know it only has a tube in the pre-amp but i would limke to know any opinions on this amp and best tube to use.

How do you like it? A guy has one of these locally, it's a head and a 4x8" enclosure. Solid state isn't my long suit but it looks pretty cool and the price is right. I know they were sold by Sam Ash.

Mine is a 60watt combo with 1 12in speaker I think it sounds pretty good for what i paid only 77.00 .Orderd a new groove tube to replace the original.
Gets a little hum at higher gain settings hope the new tube helps>got great reviews on harmony Central.
