hello i have a plush 1060 model i dont know anything about electronics as far as replacing parts internally...i have replaced the tubes and fuses with brand new groove tubes wich got rid of the crackles and pops...also i had spliced the power cable but i have serious feedback issues when i run a pedal "digitech metal master" and digitech grunge ....also i know it is a bass amp but i play guitar through it... i was told it might not be grounded but the original power cable had only two prongs as well.....if anyone can help me out with advice with this amp i would greatly apreciate it its old and loud as hell and all i have cuz im a poor fat kid.....also ive noticed as i play i have to keep turning up and i dont think its an issue with the tubes i really dont know i do let them warm up for about 10 min before practiceing....my email is xxx_usefulidiot_xxx@yahoo.com plz send me any advice or tips about this amp and my setup

That "spliced power cable" does not sound like a good idea. -

yea i know its not the best thing to do and is kinda ghetto but the problem started like 4 years ago when the orginal cable had been rubing against the unit exposing the bare wire.....there was about 3 inches of line inside the amp box itself and i opted to keep that because the connections and soder still looked and still does look pretty good so i bought a new power cable from the hardware store and wound them up to the exsisting lines and wraped the hell out of them with electrical tape...ive used the ap on a daily or weekly basis ever since and hence no issues with shocks or power surges or etc .....i do know i need to re soder a new line that is grounded but i really know nothing about that and one guy i talked to about it just kinda belittled me and wasnt inteterested in making repairs for me.....again plz help.....Comment

there is a plush 1060 for sale on ebay right now looks like its in weird shape guy says its been modified and still works but theyre should be more pre amp tubes but there is only 4...? idk but its set at 15 bucks now with no reserve heads up!!! to anyone who could repair or modify the ampComment
