  • Aged Fender Grill Cloth?

Anybody ever use the aged Fender grill cloth from Mojo? I have a cab I want to put some in to help it match my old Fenders.

Or if there is another source let me know.

    Thanks

    Aged Grill Cloth

I ordered a couple of complete baffle boards from Rodgers Amplifiers in Florida. The color matched my vintage amps really nicely, minus the beer stains. I am not sure if he sells just the grill cloth or not.

I have also read in one of Gerald Weber's books that you can make your own by soaking it in tea, but I have never tried it.

The tea solution works great. For a more authentic aged look, I will first install new grill cloth onto the baffle and then take it outside in the sun and spritz it with a spray bottle of tea, spraying more tea onto the cloth over the baffle cutouts.
