  • Mixing two amps?

Hi! I've got a Silvertone 1484 and a old tube radio that have been turned into a guitar amp that I think would be nice to mix. Is it possible do mix them together and use them as "one amp" with the same speaker cab, instead of two different amps with a A/B box?

    Thanks!

If you mean to connect 2 amps to the same speaker simultaneously, then no, that would be bad for the amps, as amp A would be driving amp B as well as the speaker.

What I'm after is to get a nice blend between the two amps. I've heard about people who's using a fender twin reverb as a reverb unit, connected to another amp, and that is sorta the thing I'm after. The radio is about 4 watts.

The cab would need 2 speakers in it, one for each amp.
