I just picked up a Crate V32 Palomino head used today and when i try to hook my g-major effects processor to the line out/in (which from what the manual says is the effects loop) I get a loud squeal when i have the output turned up on the gmajor. If I turn it down to about 50% i can hear the guitar with effects but it is very low and quite noisey. Anyone have any experience with these and know if theres a trick to get my gmajor to work with it? Thanks!!!

i think i might have it figured out. This amp has a parallel effects loop which I have never worked with. I had my chorus turned on and apparently chorus will not work as good through a parallel loop. Anyone have any tips or tricks to run through a parallel loop. I did find that i need to set "Kill Dry" on the gmajor and also change the routing to parallel. but if i can only use delay and reverb through this thing now i may have to put it up on ebay.
