Don't know the S80 offhand. Is that the complete model number? Is there a number on the unit like 8080 or 8100 or something? Or AS80r?

Your footswitch has this many buttons

Hi, if you got to Marshall Amps Info & Schematics and Ctrl+F 8240, there's a picture there of a Marshall 8240 complete with a two button footswitch. Mystery solved, I hope.

I was the guy in Guitar World who told you about this site. I told you it would be sorted out quickly. These guys are good.
        It's not microphonic - it's undocumented reverb.

SChematic Heaven has it, as usual.

Hi Prodigyx and welcome to the forum.

Its usually a good idea to start a new thread otherwise it may not get noticed.
The footswitch for the 8240 is just a plain 'ol 2 button job without any Led's with 2 change over switches some cable
and a Tip, Ring and Sleeve (stereo) 6.5 jack plug.
You could wreck (convert) the one you have but its probably easier to trade it for the correct one.
I have seen some generic ones that would work too .
To convert it one of the switches would not be used and you would need to buy a few meters of tough
twin core shielded cable and a decent TRS or stereo jack plug.
The shield would be connected to the ground at the plug and at the switch end connected to two of the switches (common).
The tip and ring go to the separate two switches .
All the switch does is ground the tip or the ring depending which one it is !
By fitting double pole switches a battery and some resistors you could make the led's work (self powered)
but for all the trouble I would just get the right 2 button one in the first place.
