I have a pair of Sylvania 1N71 solid state replacements for tube rectifiers. I can't find any information about them or their schematics. Can I use them to replace 5Y3, 5U4 and 5AR4 tubes? Thanks!

As specified in this document, 1N71 is a group of four 1n56 germanium diodes mounted on a tube base.

1n56 specs: 30V/500mA (!)

Better not try it on a conventional tube amp because its very limited voltage.

Hi Axtman, post a couple pictures !!!!
For historical reasons.
And no, don't destroy them to install 1N4007 or whatever.
If you need to do so, you can use (be careful with the glass) any old socket reclaimed from a dead octal tube.Juan Manuel Fahey
