Will my fender amp accept a TRS cable?

I'm wondering if a TRS cable will work from my M-audio profire 610 soundcard to the guitar amp (fender blues deluxe reissue)...

Will this work?

Well, it'd physically plug in, if it's a 1/4 inch TRS.

The tip will connect and the shield will connect. But whatever signal is carried in the ring, won't mate with anything in the Fender's jack. (there's even a possibility the Fender jack may short that ring portion to ground).

Dunno if there's a ready-made adpator that would combine the tip and ring to a mono tip-only plug.
